About Brent
Brent Simpson is the Principal Broker of CENTURY 21 Simpson & Associates (C21S), the family-owned Central Kentucky real estate company his parents Jerry and Gail Simpson founded as Simpson & Associated in Frankfort in 1985. From the start, Brent was part of the story. While studying Accounting at the University of Kentucky, he helped build out the company’s accounting systems during its early years, putting his education to work for the family business before he ever held a real estate license.
After graduating from UK, Brent spent 18 years in corporate accounting, rising from Staff Accountant to Controller at two automotive manufacturers in Frankfort and later serving as a Financial Examiner for the Kentucky Department of Insurance. He holds active licenses as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Examiner (CFE). In 2008, he returned to the family business as a REALTOR, bringing that financial depth with him.
Brent has built his real estate career at C21S, earning the Pinnacle Quality Service Agent Award (awarded to agents who maintain a 95% or higher client satisfaction score across performance, satisfaction, and recommendation, and sustain it year after year) from 2013 through 2017 and every year since 2019. In 2020, he earned his Broker’s License and stepped into the Principal Broker role, carrying forward a standard of service that has earned CENTURY 21 Simpson & Associates the Quality Service Office Award (recognizing offices that consistently meet CENTURY 21’s highest client satisfaction standards) every year since 1993. Under his leadership as Principal Broker, C21S has been the number one real estate company in Franklin County by closed units and closed volume every year from 2020 through 2025, and is on track in 2026.
His specialties span residential sales, commercial properties, and investment/rental real estate across Central Kentucky, with particular depth in the Frankfort, Versailles, Lawrenceburg, Georgetown, and Lexington markets. For clients navigating complex transactions, investment decisions, or the financial side of selling and buying, his background matters.
Rooted in Frankfort
Brent’s connection to Frankfort runs deep. He has served as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Frankfort for more than two decades, a long-standing commitment to the faith community at the heart of this city.
He is an active member of the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce and the Frankfort DIG (Development Interest Group), and has served on the Simon House Board of Directors, supporting efforts to address housing instability in the community he serves every day.
